ARENA DANCE COMPETITION

Over the years, dance has travelled from being a mere act into the art of life; it has passed just imitation of movements into a creative means to communicate feelings and emotions.

The mise-en-scene above is from a final year practical on dance (contemporary dance to be specific) by Obiosah Francis Obuego  on the 7^th of December, 2015.

Entirely different from mere dance, the picture visible speaks for itself. Being open to opinions, different persons can describe what they see from their point of view.

Going beyond the catchy stunt by the front man, every other player, object, write-ups and their placement contribute to the art.

As tagged above, ARENA DANCE COMPETITION; of course, when it comes to such, it is game on, and every team goes the extra mile to astonish the audience and judges to outdo the opponent.

 Like the audibility of the chant, “Go! Go!! Go!!!” is heard from the still photograph, the vibe breaks into the senses of the viewers, and that is the beauty of the sight.

 The single man with the stunt shape is backed up by his teammates’ gestures and postures, which spices the vision.

In all, dance is passion embellished by creativity and more like it; contemporary dance rejects limitations of body movements hence, the peak it attains, Go for it, it is in you!
